Social and Sports Club Design in Sotogrande

This project was born from the idea of creating a social club conceived for enjoying leisure time, sport and personal relationships in a top-quality setting, offering its members a place to share experiences with friends and family throughout the year. The proposal takes shape as a multifunctional space capable of combining sports activities, leisure areas, dining and gathering spaces, all integrated into a coherent architectural complex connected to the landscape. From the earliest design stages, the goal was to build a complete experience that would go beyond the traditional concept of a sports club. To achieve this, different spaces were designed to suit multiple uses and user profiles, creating a natural interplay between sport, wellness, gastronomy and socializing. The layout of the complex encourages connection between the different areas, creating fluid circulation routes and spaces that invite people to stay and enjoy. The architecture draws on the principles of traditional construction from the south of Spain, reinterpreting its most characteristic elements through a contemporary lens. Pure volumes, natural materials, generous outdoor areas, Mediterranean vegetation and a carefully balanced relationship between light and shadow shape an elegant, timeless architectural identity deeply connected to its surroundings. The integration of landscaping and lighting reinforces this connection, adding comfort and aesthetic value both day and night. The result is a social club that combines exclusivity, functionality and spatial quality, offering a wide range of experiences in a setting designed for togetherness. A project where architecture, sport and leisure come together to create a landmark destination, designed for outdoor living and shared moments, while always preserving the essence and character of southern Spain.
