Home Renovation in Algeciras

At Egoist Unique, we see every renovation as an opportunity to reveal a home’s true potential. In this project, the goal was not simply to update an existing house, but to completely transform it to suit a new way of living. The original home had a fragmented layout, poor circulation, dark spaces and an interior architecture that no longer met current needs. The staircase visually dominated the floor plan, and the compartmentalization limited both natural light and the connection between rooms. Our proposal completely reorganizes the main floor, removing visual barriers and unifying the living room, dining room and kitchen into a single continuous, bright and functional space. The staircase becomes the project’s structural backbone through a lightweight design, enclosed in glass and accompanied by wooden slat cladding that adds warmth without interrupting the visual continuity. The selection of natural materials —stone, wood and glass— together with integrated architectural lighting and bespoke furniture, builds a serene, elegant and timeless atmosphere, where every element responds to a specific function and to a balance between aesthetics and functionality. More than a renovation, this project represents a new way of living in the home: open, connected spaces designed to enhance everyday life.
