Vivienda Sotogrande Alto

Full Villa Renovation in Sotogrande

At Egoist Unique, we believe every project begins long before choosing materials or laying out spaces. It begins by listening, interpreting and offering answers capable of adapting to different ways of living. That’s why, for this vacation home, we decided to develop two completely different architectural proposals, allowing the client to objectively compare two design concepts, two aesthetics and two levels of investment before starting any intervention. The original home had a classic architectural language, with a layout typical of another era and an exterior image that no longer matched the expectations of a contemporary residence. Although the plot enjoyed a privileged location and an established garden, the architecture did not make the most of its potential or reflect the lifestyle the client was looking for. Our proposal set out two clearly differentiated paths. On one hand, an intervention based on a contemporary reinterpretation of the existing home, respecting part of its essence while optimizing the investment. On the other, a more ambitious proposal that completely transformed the identity of the house through clean-lined architecture, new volumes and a far more current, exclusive image. Both options were developed with the same level of detail, allowing a comparison not only of the final aesthetics, but also of the functionality, the spatial experience and the budget associated with each alternative. This allowed the client to make a fully informed decision, understanding the value each solution brought. Beyond the final result, this project represents our approach to design: a collaborative process where creativity is put at the service of people. Because for Egoist Unique, true luxury lies not only in creating extraordinary spaces, but in offering the freedom to choose the path that best suits those who will live in them.
