BEFORE THE INTERVENTION
This apartment located in Cádiz needed to significantly increase its storage capacity without losing spaciousness or natural light. Although the rooms had good dimensions and plenty of natural light, the presence of freestanding furniture and the lack of integrated solutions created a sense of visual clutter and limited use of the space. In the living room, the layout fragmented the room and failed to make the most of either the ceiling height or the storage potential. In the main bedroom, the existing organization did not adequately meet the owners’ needs, reducing both functionality and comfort. The home required a solution capable of increasing storage without compromising the sense of order and spaciousness characteristic of Cádiz’s urban surroundings.
AFTER THE INTERVENTION
The proposal was based on the design of fully customized bespoke furniture, conceived to optimize every available centimeter and integrate storage within the interior architecture itself. Thanks to this strategy, storage capacity was tripled, while also improving the order and visual spaciousness of the home. In the living room, the new furniture combines storage, display and audiovisual support functions into an elegant solution that makes the most of the full ceiling height, creating a cleaner, more contemporary look. In the main bedroom, an underused wall was transformed into a high-capacity storage system through built-in wardrobes, suspended modules and indirect lighting. The use of warm materials, clean lines and neutral tones reinforces a serene, sophisticated atmosphere. The result is a more functional, organized and comfortable home, demonstrating how bespoke furniture design can maximize storage, reduce the visual impact of the furnishings and significantly improve the quality of the living space.
